She was my right arm, the one I would choose above all others to spend time with. She would hand sew my clothes when I wanted something unique—she even made my prom dress. We would have slumber parties and watch old black-and-white movies, the "classics" as she called them. She made the BEST spaghetti sauce EVER and she always made me smile. She was my grandmother and for all intents and purposes, still is. Though now, she doesn't remember any of these memories much less remember me. She suffers from Alzheimer's. I Believe in health because I believe that someday, advances in medicine will keep the memories from fading.
